Territory Manager, Holly Springs & Fuquay-Varina

A former Chiropractic Assistant of 15 years, Jennifer decided to trade in her scrubs for a new career that encompasses her passion for animals. Originally from Binghamton NY, Jennifer and her husband moved to NC in 1996.  After exploring the Charlotte and Wilmington areas, they now reside in Holly Springs.

She has 2 active fur babies that keep her busy – a black lab named Luna and yellow lab mix named Sarah.  She really enjoys walking the  pups, and in her spare time  running and Yoga.

Jennifer joined the team in the spring of 2012 and was thrilled to be out of the office environment and starting a new chapter in her life with Peak City Puppy.  Jennifer was quickly promoted to Territory Manager in 2012 for the Holly Springs team and was the 2017 MVP of the entire Peak City Puppy Team.

Beth Sanders is a true native of North Carolina.  She grew up in and still lives in Fuquay Varina.  In addition to her husband and son, she also shares her home with 5 cats ( Edgar, Rocky, Jessie, Muffin and Macie). She also has one dog, Indiana who she enjoys taking for long walks when she’s not gardening. All of her furry family members are rescues including a diabetic cat so she is keenly aware of the attention to detail needed in a pet sitter.  Beth has hired pet sitters to care for her own pets and knows that proactive communication is the thing she most needs to give her peace of mind.  Professionally, Beth has spent the last 5 years being a full-time nanny for twin five-year-old boys who recently headed off to Kindergarten.  With her free time, Beth is looking forward to meeting lots of pets and clients as our newest Holly Springs / Fuquay Varina pet sitter and dog walker.

Denise joined the Holly Springs Team in December 2016.  She moved from Westfield, NJ, to Holly Springs, with her family, five years ago. Since then, they have been enjoying the warmer weather and the family friendly community here.

After working as a Human Resources Manager and Consultant for 15 years, she took some time off to raise her daughter. Trust and good communication have always been extremely important – both personally and professionally. Excited to be working with animals, Denise has had multiple pets her whole life – everything from iguanas and exotic birds to cats and dogs.

After losing their 17 year-old Shih-tzu, they recently adopted a sweet puppy named Brownie. Recognizing the difference between caring for an old girl and a playful puppy – Denise loves them all the same, with their different personalities and needs.  She looks forward to treating your family pet as she would her own – with lots of love and extra rubs.

Roxanne D. is a natural candidate for a Pet Sitter position.  Originally from NJ, Roxanne and her family moved to NC in 2011 where she fostered over 70 dogs through pet rescue organizations.  She jokes that after having “failed” at fostering by now having four dogs of her own (Hunter, Hutch, Jade & Pip) along with a cat (Jack) and rabbit (Timothy); she thought Pet Sitting and Dog Walking would be a great way to complement her desire to be around pets.

During the week, she is an elementary-age teaching assistant during the week and will assist mostly with Dinner, Late PM and Weekend Pet Sitting for the Holly Springs Team.  She also tracks out for 3 weeks and will be able to serve as a back-up for the Dog Walking Team during those times and around busy Holidays.  When Roxanne has free time, she enjoys decorating, going to the flea market, shopping for antiques and painting furniture.

Kristen relocated from Florida with her husband and young son in 2013.  Now living in the “Holly Springs” area of Apex, Kristen joined Peak City Puppy to continue her lifelong work with animals.  Kristen was a professional pet sitter in Florida and worked for years as a Kennel Attendant at a veterinary office.

Kristen has two short haired dachshunds (Bunbun and Vaida) as well as multiple fish.  Her flexible schedule will allow her to assist the Holly Springs team with Pet Sitting assignments and as a back-up Dog Walker.

In her spare time, Kristen loves Arts & Crafts, decorating and taking pictures in nature.  She loves the snow and is looking forward to another North Carolina winter.

Nicole is originally from Fairfield County, CT and grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses but loves animals of all kinds.  When she saw the posting for Peak City Puppy, she felt she had found a dream job since she had previously been both an independent Pet Sitter and Veterinary Technician prior to staring a family.

Nicole joined Peak City Puppy in October of 2015.  She currently lives in Cary near both Holly Springs and Apex and provides mid-day dog walking and pet sitting to all three territories.  Her own family includes 2 bulldogs, a Persian cat and a ferret along with her husband and two children.

Lori T. has previously been a client of Peak City Puppy for her own pets and was so impressed by the team’s service, she finally decided to join us in 2016.  Lori is a hard working, home-schooling mother to two teenagers.  She also works part-time in a Customer Support role at Sonshine Gymnastics in Holly Springs.

Lori adopted two rescue pups, Milo and Rocky who keep her busy and hopes to add a pig to her household in the near future!  A native of North Carolina, Lori and her family moved to Fuquay Varina in 2001.  In her spare time, Lori enjoys reading and is thrilled to begin meeting her Peak City Puppy clients.

Lori was voted the 2017 Most Valuable Veteran Award by the Team.

Lauren originally hails from St. Louis, Missouri and grew up on a horse boarding stable caring for horses, dogs, cats and chickens.  Having moved to North Carolina with her husband and 2 dogs, she is currently employed as a Special Education teacher in the Wake County Public School System.
Lauren says her “compassion, experience and love for animals led me to Peak City Puppy”, partially because she rescued both of her dogs (Annie and Lucy).  In fact, Lauren’s own dog Annie was attacked at a young age and is now reactive towards other dogs. “I have complete understanding with these types of dogs and know that while it can be frustrating to walk and pass other dogs, it is important to take them out and find ways to make them as comfortable as possible when put into stressful situations.”  Lauren will be a dog walker during the summer months and evening & weekend pet sitter for the Holly Springs and Fuquay Varina teams.

Originally from the UK, Kerry moved to the USA in 2015. After globe hopping for a number of years Kerry settled here in America and now lives in Holly Springs with her family, 3 German Shorthaired Pointers (Leos, Kassi and Ennis) and cockatoo (Olly).

Animals have always been a part of Kerry’s life. Growing up on her grandparents farm and having horses and dogs from a very young age has equipped her with experience, love, patience and respect for all animals. Whilst living in Canada, Kerry volunteered for Pointing Dog Rescue and fostered and transformed many dogs until they were ready to be re-homed. Kerry also provided a dog sitting service in her own home in Canada and Europe with a number of returning clients.

Your pet will enjoy lots of interaction and love as, for Kerry, spending time with animals is more than just the essentials of walking and feeding them. Kerry is looking forward to meeting you and spending time with your pets.

Kerry was voted the 2017 Most Valuable Rookie award by the Team.
