Cary & Morrisville, North Carolina
MEET OUR CARY/MORRISVILLE TEAM
JULIE H.
Julie is our Area Manager for the MORRISVILLE/CARY office of Peak City Puppy. A former franchise owner and corporate marketing coordinator for Denny’s Restaurants, Julie turned full-time professional pet sitter in 2009. Much like us, Julie has found the business of caring for pets to be incredibly rewarding and was promoted in June to manage the Morrisville & Cary team.
Julie is an accomplished marathoner, new mom to Lillie and dog-mom to her own pit-bull mix, Pongo.
THEA J.
Thea is thrilled to be a new Dog Walker and Pet Sitter in the Morrisville and West Cary area. Animals have always been a huge passion and comfort in her life. She has raised numerous kinds of animals throughout her life, including exotic critters, and rehabilitating injured wildlife.
Thea resides in Morrisville with her 4 year old Greyhound rescue, Moushkah (or MouBear, as her nickname), and dances professionally for a company in Durham, as well as teaches dance and anatomy to children in the Triangle area.
MELISSA R.
Melissa joined the Peak City Puppy team in early 2013. After caring for many of her family’s own animals for years she wanted to share her love and aid with the Cary/Morrisville community.
Melissa graduated from Appalachian State University in 2011 and now splits her working time between Peak City Puppy and as a production assitant at WRAL News. In her free time Melissa enjoys spending time outside, running and going to movies.
JENIFER G.
Jenifer’s love of animals began at a very early age, helping her parents raise pure-bred Samoyeds at their family home in Maine. Jenifer relocated to Cary, NC and while unable to own a dog in her current apartment, she now shares her home with an adopted kitten, Sasha.
Jenifer works in sales during the week but helps Cary pet owners with their pet sitting needs on weekday nights and weekends. She has thoroughly enjoyed her experience with the Peak City Puppy team since she began meeting clients and their pets in February 2013.
KARA K.
Kara studied Zoology at North Carolina State University and joined the Peak City Puppy team in early 2013. She is an avid pet lover and has her own dog, 2 cats, 2 hermit crabs and a snake!
Kara currently works part-time at a Cary/Morrisville Vet Hospital but shares her time as a dog walker and pet sitter for Peak City Puppy. Her lifelong goal is to become a professional dog trainer. In her spare time she enjoys reading books, watching scary movies and gardening. She and her husband have a home in Cary.
CHRIS M.
Christian Marsini has been a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of North Carolina for 3 years. He has a wife and a 2 year old daughter. He also has a malteagle named Clark who he adopted and loves very much. Chris has taken many family trips over the years, (his family in New Jersey and his wife’s in Ohio) and knows how hard it can be to leave his dog behind. He also understands the importance of finding someone who he can trust with providing quality care to a very special member of the family while he is away.
Chris is excited to be a part of the Peak City Puppy team and looks forward to providing other families with professional care for their pets. He is eager to show his experience in providing quality care and enrichment to animals. He not only enjoys caring for dogs and cats, but has experience caring for other animals such as mice, rats, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, and birds.
