MEET OUR APEX TEAM

LESLEY L.

Apex Dog Care

Lesley is co-founder and head Administrator of Peak City Puppy. She has a graduate degree in from UNC-Chapel Hill and spent a decade in the fast-paced corporate healthcare industry. Ten years as a road warrior provided Lesley with an appreciation for the unique challenges facing busy working professionals:  finding reliable, flexible and affordable pet care. Too often, boarding kennels were full or inflexible with her work schedule, while private pet sitting experiences ranged dramatically in quality of service.

Lesley co-founded Peak City Puppy in 2008 with a desire to create an entirely new service experience for Triangle pets and their owners:  a professional pet care company built with the pet owner in mind. Lesley personally trains her team on Peak City Puppy standards of care and manages the daily schedule for all visits.

She has a passion for compassionate pet care that extends beyond the walls of the veterinary clinic.  She loves in-home pet sitting because she can care for pets in their natural environment where she can greet them without wearing the scary white coat.  Hilarie enjoys working with elderly pets (especially cats), pocket pets, and pets with special medical needs.  She has experience caring for mice, gerbils, guinea pigs, chinchillas, birds, rabbits, freshwater aquarium fish, planted aquariums, alpacas, horses, and of course cats and dogs.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Best Friends Animal Society. Amy is currently in nursing school in Durham to become an RN and is enjoying it. At the end of the day, she loves coming home to her dog and relaxing together in between school work.  She enjoys staying active and taking a nice walk and/or run with her dog, and will thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to do the same for the clients she serves in Apex.

NYSSA J.
