Peak City Puppy Fall Fundraiser 2011

As you may already know, Peak City Puppy focuses charitable efforts on two local non-profits a year: The SPCA of Wake County in the spring and The Coalition to Unchain Dogs (http://unchaindogs.net/) in the fall. In years past, Lesley and Landon have held a Chili Cook-off and Charity Poker Tournament at their home, but since they’re expecting their first baby in December, we’re doing a virtual fundraiser this year!

The Coalition to Unchain Dogs is a non-profit, volunteer effort dedicated to improving the welfare of dogs living outdoor on chains. Peak City Puppy has chosen to sponsor a dog named King, who desperately needs to get off his thick, heavy chain. To pay for fencing materials, as well as a vet appointment and vital neuter surgery for King, we’re looking to raise $500.

We can easily meet our goal if just 25 people donate $10 and recruit ONE friend to do the same. We will be collecting donations online until December 9, 2011.

Feel free to let us know if you have ANY questions at all: media@peakcitypuppy.com

Happy fundraising, and thank you in advance!
