Making a List & Checking it Twice!
With Christmas and New Year’s just around the corner, the team at Peak City Puppy is gearing up to care for all of our furry, wonderful clients! We’re collecting house keys, reminding ourselves of your cat’s favorite hiding spot and preparing to give out a few extra doggie treats on Christmas morning.
This time of year is one of the busiest for us, so before you embark on your holiday adventures, here are a few reminders from your Peak City Puppy pet sitters:
• Make sure you have Peak City Puppy’s main office phone number, as well as the cell phone number of your specific pet sitter before you leave. If you need to cancel any visits, please use the main number.
• As the days grow darker, please remember to leave your entry light on for your pet sitter, prior to the first evening visit.
• If your pet is on new medications since the last time you utilized Peak City Puppy, please provide us with updated health information and medication instructions.
• Leaving towels handy gives us a headstart on getting your Peak City Puppy warm and dry after a walk in the rain/snow.
• Let your pet sitter know if your house alarm will be activated before we arrive for the first visit.
• Inform your pet sitter if a relative, friend or neighbor will be visiting your home while you’re gone, especially if they are also taking care of your pets.
• If you want to “appear at home” during your trip, let your Peak City Puppy team member know which lights to rotate and when.
• Make sure you leave enough food and litter to last the length of your vacation.
From all of us at Peak City Puppy, we wish you a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a very, VERY wonderful start to 2012.
