A Picture Worth 1,000 Woofs
At Peak City Puppy, we love taking pictures of your four-leggeds! Whether we’re posting their cute mugs on Facebook or sending shots via text message to you while you’re away, our team loves catching your bud at his or her most adorable.
Many of our clients will say, “how did you get Charlie to sit still?” Here’s a few tricks the professionals at Peak City Puppy utilize to capture those furry little moments that you’re missing:
1. TREATS: Lots of our pet photography shows your pooch looking up longingly, perhaps with a bit of drool sliding down their chin. You can almost bet we’ve got a tasty treat in one hand and a camera in the other. Holding a yummy snack above the camera ensures that your pup’s eyes will always be towards the lens!
2. WORK UP A SMILE: Peak City Puppy helps your dog to stay active while you’re gone. Once we’ve had a healthy spin around the block or a wild game of catch out back, many dogs are panting up a storm. This creates that tired, cute, sloppy grin – complete with lolling tongue. Then we aim and click!
3. GET ON THEIR LEVEL: To get a great shot, often times we’ll lower ourselves to your dog’s eye level. This helps them to be less distracted by swinging camera cords and it keeps our feet out of the picture! Also, getting on the floor with your buddy can help ease any master/follower tension – everybody is equal!
